Discover LithoNutri®, a mineral solution developed from Lithothamnium for formulations intended for beef and dairy cattle. A marine-origin mineral matrix with calcium, magnesium, and high bioavailability for different nutritional strategies.

Mineral Nutrition for Beef and Dairy Cattle

An origin that supports performance in beef and dairy ruminants.

Its consistent composition and high bioavailability enable use in premixes, concentrates, mineral supplements, protein-energy supplements, and feeds for different production systems.

Mineral nutrition for more efficient systems
In beef and dairy cattle, productivity depends on a consistent nutritional foundation.

When the mineral source has high bioavailability, the animal makes better use of calcium, magnesium, and essential trace elements for performance, metabolism, and digestive stability.

LithoNutri delivers a natural biomineral matrix with a porous structure and high mineral bioavailability, contributing to digestive balance, feed efficiency, and support for animal health.

Benefits for
dairy cattle

Improved mineral nutrition

A source of biogenic minerals.

Higher calcium bioavailability

Increased digestibility

Contributes to better utilization of dry matter and other nutrients.

Higher milk and milk fat production

Supports the quality and value of the milk produced.

Improved rumen health

Long-lasting buffering effect and support for rumen balance.

Benefits for beef cattle

Support for weight gain

Contributes to a better nutritional response.

Improved feed efficiency

Supports diet utilization.

A source of bioavailable calcium and magnesium

Minerals that are important for metabolism, growth, and performance.

Use in mineral supplements

It can be incorporated into different formulation strategies.

A stable rumen, a more productive system

In intensive systems, high-starch diets can increase the risk of ruminal acidosis, reduce digestive efficiency, increase fecal starch, reduce milk fat, and worsen feed conversion.

LithoNutri® acts as a mineral source with a buffering effect, contributing to greater stability of the ruminal environment and improved digestive efficiency.

In a trial with 36 animals, LithoNutri was compared with sodium bicarbonate.

The study used 102 g per cow per day of LithoNutri versus 280 g per cow per day of bicarbonate.

The data presented indicated:

  • Maintenance of ruminal pH at optimal levels
LithoNutri maintained adequate ruminal pH, without acidosis.
  • Greater savings per animal
The material indicates savings of R$0.94 per animal per day and an ROI of 1:6.47.
  • Increase in milk value
The comparison showed an additional gain of R$2.15 per cow per day, considering production, fat, protein, and total solids.
